Terms & Conditions — Towing Company Covington GA

The terms that apply to towing, roadside assistance and vehicle removal services provided in Covington and Newton County.

1. Services

Towing Company Covington provides towing, roadside assistance, vehicle recovery and junk vehicle removal in Covington, Georgia and the surrounding areas of Newton County. Service availability depends on weather, road conditions and truck availability at the time of your call.

2. Pricing and payment

Prices are quoted before dispatch and are based on the information you provide. If the job turns out to require different equipment or more time than described, we will tell you the revised price before proceeding. Payment is due on completion. We accept cash and major cards.

3. Vehicle condition and pre-existing damage

We photograph every vehicle before moving it. Towing a damaged or non-running vehicle may cause further damage that was already latent in the vehicle's condition. We are not liable for damage arising from pre-existing defects, including damaged suspension, seized wheels, failed brakes or compromised structural components.

4. Personal property

Remove all personal belongings from the vehicle before it is towed. We are not responsible for items left inside the vehicle, in the trunk, or in the bed of a truck.

5. Abandoned and unclaimed vehicles

Vehicles towed at the request of law enforcement, a property owner, or under authority of Georgia law may be stored and disposed of in accordance with Georgia statute. Storage fees accrue from the date of tow.

6. Junk vehicle purchases

When we purchase a junk vehicle, ownership transfers on collection and payment. The seller confirms they have the legal right to sell the vehicle. Where a title is unavailable, the seller must provide whatever documentation Georgia law requires for the vehicle to be legally scrapped.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability for damage caused by our negligence during towing is limited to the lesser of the cost of repair or the actual cash value of the vehicle at the time of the tow. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use, lost wages or missed appointments.

8. Cancellations

If you cancel after a truck has been dispatched, a call-out fee may apply to cover fuel and travel time. There is no charge if you cancel before dispatch.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Newton County, Georgia.
